MIFF 2011 will be held from 06th to 10th July 2011.

The planned program for the year 2011 is as follows:
WEDNESDAY, 6th July 2011 at 19.30: Cultural and gastronomical gathering between participating groups (Tartini Square Piran)
THURSDAY, , 7th July 2011 at 21.00: MIFF Golden Night (Avditorij Portoroz)
FRIDAY, 8th July 2011  in the morning Excursion to the Salt fields of Secovlje and at 21.00: Open Air performances in Piran and Izola and Umag (CRO)
SATURDAY, 9th July 2011 in the morning Excursion to one of the world most known caves (Postojna or Skocjanske) and at 21.00: Open Air performances in Piran and Izola and Umag (CRO)
SUNDAY, 10th July 2011 at 21.00: Open Air performances in Koper

Due to the recession and reduced budgeting/sponsorships possibilities MIFF 2011 (at the moment) will accept as prority grups that can participate for its accomodation costs. More details redarding this issue can be found on the FAQ list.

Interested groups are invited to send us a DVD or a videotape of the group together with the filled application form.

MIFF festival is runed on the voluntary bases and already from the beginning the festival is not making any extra money/profit. That means that the festival is depending on the sponsorships.
